It started as a simple exercise in silliness; putting googley eyes on all the things I could find on my desk to see what looked the strangest.

As it turns out, each object became a different character based on everything except it's eyes.

Eventually I decided to make a seamless background and photograph each one of these guys individually.

 

I found that now it's very hard not to think of my USB adapter as being constanly in shock, or to think of my utility knife as a bashful shark.

 

Sometimes incidental projects are the most fun...
